Primary Responsibility / Summary The Retail Store Associate Trainee Position (RAST) is a temporary training position for a total of 360 work hours. The RSAT will work under the direction of Retail Management Team to train in all aspects of the retail location. Developing their skills to assist in the efficient operation of a retail store, to achieve established goals for sales, production, service, safety and expense control. Essential Duties & Responsibilities

1.   Provide excellent service, engages with each customer and donor, while presenting a friendly and cooperative attitude  2.   Communicate our Mission and how we serve our communities.  3.   Follow all safety rules and exercise caution in all work related activities.  4.   Maintain a clean and safe environment by following all social distancing and personal protective equipment policies and procedures.  5.   Perform accurate Point of Sale (POS) and cash handling procedures.  6.   Receive and accurately record donations using technology.  7.   Sort, clean, process, price donated goods, following company standards.  8.   Merchandise and maintain the salesfloor to meet standards and guidelines.  9.   Load and unload trucks.  10. Work flexible shifts; including nights, weekends, holidays and overtime when needed.

Additional Duties & Responsibilities  1.   Performs necessary janitorial work.  2.   Other duties and special projects as assigned.  3.   This is a temporary position, 360 work hours.
