LAC Class C Truck Driver

Primary Responsibility / Summary
Drives bobtail truck or van as assigned to deliver and collect goods.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Regularly inspects vehicle and fills out daily inspection forms.
- Complies with company safety procedures and Department of Motor Vehicles regulations.
- Reports unsafe conditions to supervisor.
- Loads, secures and unloads goods.
- Completes assigned route efficiently.
- Ensures all related paperwork is filled out correctly.
- Presents friendly, cooperative attitude at all times; is well-groomed at all times.
- Operates all equipment in a safe and efficient manner
- Must have a valid California driver’s license. Driving records must meet the requirements of company’s insurance carrier.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
Education & Experience
- 1-2 years of class C driving experience.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
- Ability to work moderate supervision.
- Spanish / English bilingual preferred.
- Bobtail knowledge preferred
