Primary Responsibility / Summary

Maintains current commodity vendor accounts while sourcing new vendors. Maximizes revenue potential; researches and identifies new commodity lines to create additional sales.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

1. Conducts sale of commodities, collecting vendor payments, arranges pick‐ups and coordinates schedule with assigned location.
2. Schedules, coordinates, and confirms all commodity pick‐ups are conducted efficiently while ensuring proper communication is established among all GSC campuses.
3. Maintains current commodity vendor accounts while sourcing new vendors.
4. Maintains required documentation to ensure compliance with State and Federal agency requirements.
5. Provides excellent customer service to vendors, expediting vendor requests/concerns and ensuring billing inquiries are resolved in a timely matter.
6. Assists in growing commodities lines along with expanding the vendor base to divert the volume goods sent to the landfill.
7. Maintains and manages vendor accounts, receives original invoices and BOL’s, tracks discrepancies, maintains revenue ledger, collects balances due, submits check requests for refunds and communicates with Business Office regarding any billing inquires.
8. Ensures the certifications of scale calibration for all locations are up to date and provides Certificate of Calibration to vendors.
9. Maintains accurate documentation in regards to the CEW Log, personnel training, and summary report.

Education & Experience 

Min 2 years of commodities sales experience. 
High school grad Possesses excellent customer relations skills 
Abilities to meet deadlines and multi-task. 
Spanish / English bilingual preferred.

Punctual and dependable attendance. 
Free from alcohol and drug abuse. 
Understands the basic philosophy of Goodwill and participates fully in carrying out its mission.
