The Recruiting Coordinator plays a key role by supporting Goodwill's Recruitment Team with all aspects of the recruitment process.  The Coordinator is responsible for general administrative support, ensures the new hire screening process is completed, represents Goodwill at local Job Fairs and generates and maintains recruitment reports. This position is in-person at Goodwill's SoCal San Bernardino Campus. 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Supports the Recruiters with all aspects of the recruitment process.
  • Ensures candidates receive new hire paperwork and that all paperwork is completed prior to employment. 
  • Coordinates and maintains records for all criminal background checks, drug tests, DMV acceptability, live scans and educational certification verifications.
  • Coordinates New Hire Orientation and schedules attendees.
  • Coordinates and participates in employment events such as job fairs, open houses, and campus recruiting events. 
  • Maintains recruiting related social media recruitment content. 
  • Performs routine clerical duties such as processing of mail, filing, photocopying, data entry, scheduling of meetings related to recruiting.
  • Generates and maintains weekly and monthly recruitment reports for distribution.
  • Assists recruiting team with job postings to outside sites.
  • Schedules and coordinates additional candidate testing and exams as needed.

Education & Experience

  • 1-3 years of Human Resources experience.
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Excellent communication and customer relations skills.
  • Must be able to work with all levels of employees and general public with extreme courtesy.
  • Abilities to multi-task and highly organized.
  • Experienced with Microsoft Office and familiar with social media platforms.
  • Non-profit experience preferred.
  • Spanish/ English bilingual preferred
  • Applicant Tracking systems experience required. Ceridian Dayforce preferred.
  • Valid CA driver’s license and state required insurance required.
  • Background Check, Drug Screen, Employment and Education verification required.
