Primary Responsibility / Summary

Performs grounds and landscape maintenance at multiple Company and contract locations, and drives to work sites.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  1. Performs grounds/landscape maintenance services in a professional manner, providing neat, attractive appearance; duties include lawn care, planting, weeding, trimming, and irrigation repairs.
  2. Drives company vehicle to job sites, transporting crew and equipment. 
  3. Maintains all landscape equipment operational by following manufacturer's instructions and established operating procedures.
  4. Maintains landscape supply inventory, anticipating needed supplies and notify supervisor when supply order is needed, to avoid delays in performing service.
  5. Interacts cooperatively with customers.
  6. Works cooperatively with team members, to accomplish duties in the most efficient, effective manner.

Qualifications

  • Possesses a valid driver's license and state-required auto insurance.
  • Required to travel extensively (> 50% of the time).
  • Shift flexibility and overtime when needed.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Punctual and dependable attendance.
  • Free from alcohol and drug abuse.
  • Understands the basic philosophy of Goodwill and participates fully in carrying out its mission.
  • Adheres to Goodwill’s values of Respect, Integrity, Service, & Excellence.
