Primary Responsibility / Summary


Responsible for the efficient operation of the the Company's E-Commerce operation and meeting or exceeding production and revenue goals consistently.  Supervises and leads staff to achieve established goals for sales, production, customer service, payroll, shipping and receiving, product storage, quality control, safety and expense control.






Essential Duties & Responsibilities

 



1.Analyzes e-commerce sales trends and inventory needs to determine the best course for optimal inventory and staffing to facilitate sales at all times especially at peak purchasing seasons.
2.Develops effective merchandising strategies for the online marketplace.
3.Continuously evaluates the distribution of space to optimize inventory.  Evaluates processes for optimization of work flow and makes recommendations.
4.Continually researches, develops and implements revenue-generating and cost-cutting opportunities for assigned areas of operation.
5.Establishes quality control guidelines for employees to follow. 
6.Acts as top-tier customer support to handle all customer service requirements, standards and fix elevated customer service issues.
7.Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.  Responsibilities include initiatives, inventory controls, development, training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding, developing and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems
8.Prepares, maintains and submits required financial reporting.
9.This position requires some travel (25% to 50%) a valid CA driver's license and state-required auto insurance are required.  Driving records must be acceptable by the company’s insurance vendor.




Education & Experience



•High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.  Some college or college degree preferred.

•2-5 years of Managerial/Supervisory experience in an e-commerce fulfillment environment

•Exceptional customer service skills.  

•Excellent communication and people skills.

•Able to delegate, prioritize, solve problems and meet deadlines. 

•Able to work quickly while maintaining accuracy and high standards. 

•Display a professional and positive demeanor in all situations, demonstrating leadership and inspiring confidence in staff.

•Proficient in computer programs in a Windows environment, including Word, Excel, and E-mail.

•Non-Profit experience preferred.

•Free from alcohol and drug abuse.
