Primary Responsibility / Summary

Maintains the efficient operation of the Clearance Center to achieve established goals for sales, post-retail processes, salvage, trash disposal, customer service, and safety.  

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  1. .Provides excellent customer and staff relations.
  2. Assists in auctions and manages vendors accountability.
  3. Moves goods from dock to destination, as directed.
  4. .Rotates goods in Outlet Store as scheduled.
  5. Processes goods for salvage, as directed.
  6. Assists in the maintenance of structural, electrical, store equipment and landscaping of store.
  7. .Maintains excellent housekeeping standards.

Additional Duties & Responsibilities

  1. Performs accurate operations of a cash register.
  2. Loads and unloads trucks.
  3. .Other duties and special projects as assigned.

  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.  Ability to write simple correspondence.  Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.  Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

 

Reasoning Ability

  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.  Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

 

Computer Skills

  • None required.

  • Shift flexibility and overtime when needed.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Spanish / English bilingual preferred.
  • Punctual and dependable attendance.
