Goodwill Southern California is hiring Clearance Center Associates to support our mission of transforming lives through the power of work. In this role, you’ll help drive the final stage of our retail process—supporting product flow, salvage operations, and customer interactions that keep our clearance centers efficient, organized, and impactful.
What You’ll Do:
- Support daily clearance center operations, including moving, rotating, and processing goods from dock to floor.
- Assist with auctions, vendor coordination, and accountability processes.
- Load and unload trucks while safely handling donated goods and materials.
- Operate cash registers and complete transactions accurately when needed.
- Maintain clean, safe, and organized workspaces, including backroom and sales floor areas.
- Support salvage, recycling, and waste processes in alignment with company standards.
- Contribute to overall production, sales, and operational goals.
What You Bring:
- Ability to read, write, and communicate basic English effectively.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced, physically active environment (lifting, moving, and standing).
- Basic math skills and ability to handle transactions.
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work with minimal supervision.
- Team-oriented mindset with a strong work ethic.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Bilingual Spanish/English is a plus.
