Deliver comprehensive participant support encompassing proactive outreach, thorough screening and assessments, engaging workshops, robust education and skills development, and dedicated training assistance to guarantee successful job placement and long-term retention.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Business Development:

  • Drive employer engagement by identifying and conducting outreach to employers strategically aligned with Goodwill's mission through proactive phone contact, compelling email campaigns, professional written correspondence, and impactful face-to-face presentations.
  • Provide valuable solutions to prospective employer partners such as staffing assistance, tax credit incentives, labor market insights, the other benefit support for reasonable accommodations and impactful job training assistance and employment opportunities.
  • Cultivate work experience pathways by collaborating with local employers to develop and identify suitable job opportunities; conduct thorough site assessments.
  • Support program success by assisting in the facilitation of key events such as recruitment, job fairs and influential meetings.

Job Placement Support:

  • Generate promising job leads and interview opportunities to directly connect job seekers with eager employment partners; collaborate closely with job seekers and WCD Specialists to ensure job leads are perfectly aligned with individual interests and skill sets.
  • Match talent with opportunity by expertly assessing participants' interests, career goals, and job readiness, and strategically aligning them with appropriate and fulfilling employment opportunities.
  • Maximize program impact by achieving individual placement, hourly wage, and strong retention goals as mandated by the program, WCD and the Funder.
  • Deliver exceptional recruitment solutions, proactive lay-off aversion strategies, comprehensive outplacement services, and tailored business support, including expert pre-screening of applicants, targeted recruitment initiatives, successful hosted job fairs, effective job postings, precise job matching, and comprehensive interviewing assistance.

Quality Assurance:

  • Uphold program integrity by ensuring both participants and businesses understand and adhere to established policies and expectations.

Safey & Security:

  • Safeguard the working environment through diligent identification of hazardous conditions, timely reporting of safety incidents, and rigorously enforcing compliance stardards within organizational policies and code of conduct. Adhere to all safety standards and exercise caution in all work-related activities.

Additional Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.

Travel Requirements:

  • This position requires travel (25% to 50%) within Southern California; a valid CA driver's license and state-required auto insurance are necessary. Driving records must be acceptable by the company’s insurance vendor.

Education & Experience

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
  • 1-2 years of case management/career counseling experience.
  • 2-3 Years of sales related experience.
  • Experience working with individuals with barriers to employment.
  • Experience in recruitment or staffing industry, highly desired.
  • Experience with Salesforce/CRM System preferred.
